Scout Bar is a long-running Clear Lake rock club known for national touring metal and hard rock acts, local showcases, and popular tribute nights, with two bars and a separate DJ/dance room. Opened in 2004 and operated by Thomas Wilson of Houston industrial band The Hunger, it offers an intimate, general?admission experience near NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Set along Egret Bay Boulevard in the Clear Lake area, it’s a destination venue with nearby dining and nightlife.

Parking

Free parking in the Marina Gate lot (front and back) plus the adjacent office building lot just south of the venue; no overnight parking in the office lot (towing enforced).

Public transit

Closest transit is METRO’s Bay Area Park & Ride at 801 Bay Area Blvd., served by commuter express routes 247 (Fuqua/Bay Area) and 249 (Bay Area/El Dorado/Fuqua/Monroe) to Downtown/TMC on weekday schedules; most attendees use rideshare for shows.
