About

MATCH (Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston) is a multi-venue arts complex in Midtown featuring four performance spaces that host theater, dance, music, film, and visual art. The first performances were held in October 2015, with a grand opening weekend in January 2016; the complex was designed by Lake|Flato and Studio RED as a hub for Houston’s small and mid-sized arts groups. Set along Main Street amid Midtown restaurants and bars, the venue offers a flexible, community-focused setting steps from the METRORail Red Line.

Getting there

Parking

No on-site lot; the recommended option is the Mid Main Garage directly across Holman Street from MATCH (entrances on Travis and Holman). Metered street parking is available on nearby east–west streets; accessible parking is provided in the garage; no valet for public events.

Public transit

METRORail Red Line at Ensemble/HCC Station about a half-block south of MATCH; additional METRO bus service operates on nearby Midtown corridors. Rideshare/drop-off is easiest at the Travis Street entrance.
