The dynamic Acid Jazz duo with their signature Diamond-Cut Sound is from Atlanta, GA is called Arkose. They are made up of multi-instrumentalists, Tad Adams & Noah Sills. This duo has quickly became a household name in the music scene. From their weekly jazz jam residency at Smiths Olde Bar to them working with some of the best up and coming artists such as: Jai’Len Josey, SWAVAY, Ben Reilly, Chase Shakur, Kennedy Ryon, Gus Glasser, Eddie 9V and many more.
They grab from influences such as: Badbadnotgood, Khruangbin, Kool & The Gang, Jamiroquai, Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind, & Fire & the Isley Brothers. While changing throughout the years because of members learning new instruments such as flute and clarinet and also improving on recording techniques, Acid Jazz is the best genre to describe Arkose. Their blend of Jazz, House, RnB, HipHop, Soul & Rock is what not only makes them unique to Atlanta, but the whole globe.
