Texas Cyclone Band Tribute to Bill Monroe

Texas Cyclone Band celebrates the 115th birthday of Bill Monroe""Big Mon," the Father of Bluegrass"with a special afternoon devoted to his music and the bluegrass tradition he created. The band will dig into Monroe's music and trace his influence through generations of bluegrass, from the early days to the music being played today. Making the occasion especially unique, mandolinist Adam Paul will perform on a vintage mandolin once played by Bill Monroe himself. Texas Cyclone Band features Michael Allen on banjo, Adam Paul on mandolin, Mark Seale on fiddle, Alan Simmons on bass, and Andrew Vrana on guitar.
