Disney’s The Little Mermaid makes a splash in this brand-new production created right here in Houston by Theatre Under The Stars. Based on the beloved Hans Christian Andersen tale and the classic Disney animated film, this dazzling musical adventure follows Ariel, a curious young mermaid who dreams of life beyond the sea. Featuring unforgettable music by eight-time Academy Award® winner Alan Menken with lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, the show includes favorite songs like “Under the Sea,” “Part of Your World,” and “Kiss the Girl.” With spectacular staging, vibrant characters, and heartwarming storytelling, audiences of all ages will be swept away by Ariel’s journey of courage, friendship, and finding where you belong.
