Houston Contemporary Dance Company is thrilled to present the highly anticipated Houston Premiere and stunning restaging of Yin Yue’s Sigra Sigra. HCDC is immensely proud to be the only company in the entire state of Texas to have Yin’s brilliant work in our repertoire—a masterpiece so significant that it is also being set on the legendary Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in NYC this season. But the momentum doesn’t stop there. This breathtaking evening also features an incredible lineup of powerhouse repertoire works include, a captivating piece by NYC-based visionary choreographer Joe Celej, the brilliant, acclaimed SLUMP by mastermind choreographer Joshua L. Peugh, and the striking, hypnotic choreography of Isabella Vik’s Heat.
