Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 7 & Shéhérazade will be performed live in Houston November 27–29, 2026 with the Houston Symphony at Jones Hall.

We’ll set the stage with soaring, lavishly romantic music from Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, composed by film score legend Bernard Herrmann. Then, be transported to the magical land of One Thousand and One Nights as Sasha Cooke joins the orchestra for Ravel’s bewitching Shéhérazade.
Originally written for a children’s radio program (and utterly delightful at any age), Prokofiev’s Symphony No. 7 sparkles with twinkling charm and fairy tale magic.
