About
The 4th Witch is a 65-minute theatrical work that premiered June 4–8, 2025 at Spoleto Festival USA. It reimagines elements of Shakespeare’s Macbeth using shadow puppetry, silhouette actors, and a live original score by Ben Kauffman and Kyle Vegter. The piece was co-commissioned by Spoleto Festival USA, ArtsEmerson, Cal Performances, and Wisconsin Union Theater and received support from the Jim Henson Foundation.
