Shanna in a Dress (Shanna Hoar) is a singer-songwriter who began performing while at the University of Virginia and released her debut album Robot in 2022 following a successful crowdfunding campaign. She has won multiple songwriting contests (including Kerrville New Folk and the Great River Folk Fest Song Competition), performed at festivals such as Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, Kerrville and Falcon Ridge, and completed a 2021 'Tour de Dress' bicycle tour from Seattle to Boston playing over 60 shows.
