Sam Green and Yo La Tengo collaborated on the live documentary The Love Song of R. Buckminster Fuller, commissioned by SFMOMA and premiered in 2012, with Green narrating live while Yo La Tengo performed an original score. Sam Green is an Academy Award–nominated documentarian (The Weather Underground) and the project has been presented at festivals and theaters.
