Ali Amini (stage name Navan) was born in Tehran on February 20, 1997 and later relocated to Canada, developing his career in Montreal and Toronto. He released his first single in 2020 and his album Mesle Ghabl in 2024, has worked with Grammy-winning/nominated collaborators, and shared the stage with Persian singer Ebi in Toronto before audiences of around 15,000. A trilingual songwriter (Farsi, English, French), Navan focuses on blending Persian storytelling with contemporary pop and R&B production.
