About
Founded in 1992 and led by director Jose Sada, Mixteco Ballet Folklórico is a Houston-based cultural dance company that trains youth and adults and promotes Mexican traditions through performance and education. The company is a multiple Grand Champion at the Competencia Folklórica de Texas (2015, 2016, 2018) and has toured internationally, including performances in Macedonia (2012), the People’s Republic of China (2013), Puerto Rico (2015), and Peru (2019).
