Luisito Quintero is a master timbalero and percussionist who trained at the Orquesta Sinfónica de Venezuela and relocated to New York City in 1992, building a long international career. He has served as musical director on major projects, co-founded the Quintero Salsa Project/3rd Element and released solo albums (including Percussion Maddness), and has appeared on recordings that have won Grammy and Latin Grammy awards.
