Ken-David Masur (born 1977) is a German-born American conductor who graduated from Columbia University in 2002 and has held posts with major U.S. orchestras. He became Music Director of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra effective with the 2019–2020 season and has served as Principal Conductor of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago; he and his wife co-founded the Chelsea Music Festival. His career includes assistant and resident conducting positions in Europe and the U.S., appearances at Tanglewood, and a range of guest-conducting engagements.
