Harrison Guy is a Houston-based dancer, choreographer, and activist who founded and serves as artistic director of Urban Souls Dance Company. He served as co-chair of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner’s LGBTQ Advisory Board and was named Houston Pride’s Male Grand Marshal in 2019 (the first Black man to hold that role). Guy has led community initiatives including Gatekeepers and the Black LGBTQ Houston History & Heritage Project and has held artist residencies, including at Rice University’s Moody Center for the Arts.
