Formed by the Aguado brothers and friends in 1962, Guaco evolved from a regional gaita group into a long-running, innovative Venezuelan superband that blends many influences. The group has toured internationally, collaborated with artists across Latin America and recorded a live concert with Gustavo Dudamel and the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra in 2016; they won Latin Grammy awards for Best Contemporary Tropical Album in 2016 and 2017.
