About
Born 22 April 1995, Emmanuel Tjeknavorian is a violinist and conductor and the son of composer/conductor Loris Tjeknavorian. He represented Austria at Eurovision Young Musicians (2012), took third place in the Fritz Kreisler Competition (2014) and second prize at the International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition (2015). In 2024 he was named Music Director of the Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano for the 2024/25 season.
