About
Formed in 2005 in Los Angeles, California, Clandestine is a female fronted hard rock band that ingeniously fuses symphonic semblance and progressive rhythms, underlying lush melodic lyrics. It consists of four members: June Park (vocals), Dan Durakovich (guitars), Manny Castaneda (drums), and Chad Whitaker (bass). Clandestine's beginning came about as singer June Park was looking for a collaborator on her original materials. The first member that she looked for was a guitarist who has precise technique, good stage presence, and creativity in songwriting in which to cooperate with. At the end of the search, Dan Durakovich was found among many guitarists in Los Angeles. In a little while, he introduced an incredibly talented drummer named Manny Castaneda to the newly forming band. They had previously worked together in a cover project. Chad Whitaker's intriguing style and immense musical background meshed perfectly with the direction of the band and finalized the lineup.
