Aleksey Bogdanov is a baritone who has appeared at major houses including The Metropolitan Opera (debut 2021 in Boris Godunov), San Francisco Opera, Royal Swedish Opera, and Lyric Opera of Chicago, performing roles such as Scarpia, Rigoletto and Escamillo. He is a grand-prize winner of the Florida Grand Opera Competition, a two-time winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council District Awards, and a recipient of grants from The Sullivan Foundation and the San Francisco Opera Merola Program.
